Dr. Rahul Walawalkar is the founder and executive director of the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA).

He also leads the Emerging Technologies & Markets practice for Customized Energy Solutions focusing on energy storage, renewables, demand response and smart grid technologies as well as international markets.

Since the beginning of 2018, he is also the chair of the Global Energy Storage Alliance (GESA).
