After studying industrial engineering and management at the Technical University of Graz Florian Haslauer started his professional career in industrial companies in the US and Hong Kong. In 1991 Haslauer joined A.T. Kearney in Munich as a management consultant and changed to the Vienna office a few years later. Since 1995 he has actively developed A.T. Kearney’s Utilities Practice in Central Europe and later in Europe. Between 2006 and 2010 he was leading the Central European Utilities Practice and between 2011 and 2013 the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Practice. Since 2014 he is responsible for the Global Utilities Business of A.T. Kearney. Since 2012 he is additionally Country Head of Austria.
Florian Haslauer has concentrated on the areas strategy development, organizational optimization, and process design, in particular with the objective to optimize and sustainably ensure customer orientation, innovation, efficiency and profitability. He has lead many project successfully especially in improving the competitiveness of Utilities.
Haslauer is co-author of books and author of articles on energy industry related issues. In addition, he has headed multiple studies on energy market liberalization.
Florian Haslauer is married and has two children.
